The first two stanzas given here do not appear on Joe&#8217;s recording, but would normally be expected in this song.<\/p>\n<p class=\"n\u00f3ta-bun-leathanaigh\">2. Normally this line would be: <i>T\u00e1 mo nua-chulaith p\u00f3sta, c\u00e9ad faraoir, f\u00f3s le sn\u00edomh<\/i> (&#8216;My new wedding-costume is, alas, yet to be spun&#8217;). As Joe sings it however, the sense of the line is difficult to make out.<\/p>\n<p class=\"n\u00f3ta-bun-leathanaigh\">Entry updated on 22nd June 2019.
